A little about Jennifer ( Jen) Walker in her own words……
“I grew up in Burnt Hills, NY (near Saratoga/Albany), met my husband who was in the Navy at that time, and began my travels around the country. I have been in the medical field since 2002 when I started as a Medical Assistant in San Diego. After my husband completed his enlistment, we moved to Providence, RI and then to Boston, MA where I obtained my Nursing degree in 2012. I am an honors graduate and have received recognition for my work at two separate Nursing jobs. My first job was in Drug and Alcohol Detoxification for a few years. I then obtained a job at an acute care and rehabilitation center. At that time, my interests were geared more towards emergency care, and I sat on multiple committees. It was near the end of that position that I found an interest in end-of-life care.
I have two handsome boys in my life along with my great husband also handsome and smart. We moved down to TN in July 2019 and bought our home in Fairview in December. We moved South because we had visited a few times and really enjoyed the people and the beautiful views! It has been the best move and decision we have ever made. The last three years I have spent as a Hospice Nurse and really enjoyed my work.
I enjoy music very much (any type) and play the guitar at times for fun. I also enjoy the outdoors, but above all, I love my family and spending time with them.
I have built great relationships with families, facilities, and clients over the years, and know people feel better when they are well informed. I am passionate about getting your loved one the care they deserve and keeping you well informed.”
